1. when did you realize that painting was your "art"?

About 4 years ago. I wanted to be a pro skater, but skateboarding introduced me to a a lot of the artists that inspired me to start painting, and still inspire me today.

2. what made you choose England to study?

I don't. I am still doing my BFA in Painting in Lisbon. But the plan is to move to London as soon as possible.

3. how would you define your style?

I wouldn't. I am not interested in labels..

4. for you as an artist, does the perception of your work by the public and critics really matter?

I paint for myself firstly, and I try not to think about any of that on the moment I am creating. However, it's always very nice to see people responding to my work.

5. how far are you willing to go in search of originality?

I believe thats something that has to come naturally.
